From Willow Grove to Hollington Road

Rodney and Prudence Hall lived in Hollington Road with their young daughter, Freda. Rodney was born in Southampton in 1883 and worked as a shipwright. His mother, Caroline Passmore, lived in the same road. Caroline married twice and one of her youngest children was Thomas Bilham, who was killed in Egypt during the First World War in 1918.

The card was possibly sent by Annie Crutchley. She was born in Gorton, Lancashire in 1889. She appears in the 1911 census with her family at the address she's added to the card. At the time of the census she was a teacher.
